to support supplier diversity

MINNEAPOLIS – Minneapolis Public Schools is hosting a procurement meeting in partnership with the Midwest Minority Supplier Development Council,

Thursday, April 18, 2‐4 p.m. in Assembly Room S1‐404 of the Davis Education and Service Center – 1250 W. Broadway Ave., Minneapolis, MN.

 

Minority business professionals, of corporations and small businesses, are invited to attend, as well as representatives of government agencies, non‐profits and other stakeholders who support supplier diversity.

 

The agenda will cover best business practices, provide an overview of MPS business partner practices and give participants an opportunity to expand contact lists. Buyers of the MPS purchasing department will be on hand. Check‐in time will be 1:30‐2 p.m. Program begins at 2 p.m., with a networking session tentatively scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
